Yahoo Finance Euphoria star Colman Domingo addresses rumours he'll play Kang in MCU
Euphoria star Colman Domingo has addressed rumours that he'll be replacing Jonathan Majors as Kang in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Majors, who had already appeared in Antman: Quantumania and Loki as big bad Kang the Conquerer, was dropped by Marvel in December 2023 after being found guilty of harassment and assault.
Fans have since been wondering what Marvel will do next, with recasting the role being a popular theory, rather than writing Kang out altogether.
Speaking with Entertainment Tonight at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala on January 5, Domingo has addressed claims that he's first in line to take up the Kang mantle following Majors' departure.

"I don't know, I'm always looking at what I have to do right now... I know there's talk and conversations around, and I don't know how much is true," he told the publication.
"I don't even get that from my team, I can't tell if it's true or not."
However, Domingo added that he appreciated being thought of for the role, noting how "passionate" fans of the MCU are.
"Somehow my name is out there in the world [and] I like the idea of just having your name called and someone speaking lovingly and kindly about something is a beautiful thing," he said.

Majors attended court on December 18, and was found guilty of misdemeanor reckless assault in the third degree and of harassment of former girlfriend Grace Jabbari. He was also acquitted of two additional charges – intentional assault in the third degree and aggravated harassment in second degree.
The actor was arrested in March 2023 after a domestic dispute and was dropped by his PR firm and his management team.
Kang the Conqueror was set to be the major antagonist in both Avengers: The Kang Dynasty (2026) and Avengers: Secret Wars (2027); Majors will not appear in either.
Marvel has not confirmed how they plan to proceed with the character.
