Eric Gordon to miss 4-6 weeks with moderate groin strain
Houston Rockets guard Eric Gordon will miss 4-6 weeks due to a moderate groin strain, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Gordon suffered the injury during Thursday's 125-105 loss to the Sacramento Kings. Gordon went down with the injury during the third quarter of the contest. He was defending De'Aaron Fox on the play, and appeared to injure himself while shuffling his feet to keep up with Fox.
The Rockets' announcers called it a non-contact injury.

Gordon was clearly in pain following the play, and needed some time before he could get up. Even then, he was hunched over for a while as he talked to Houston's trainers. He finished the contest with 17 points.
Eric Gordon in middle of strong season
The Rockets haven't been particularly good after trading James Harden, but Gordon is among the team's bright spots. In 27 games, Gordon is averaging 17.8 points and 2.6 assists. Despite that, the Rockets are just 11-24 this season.
The team is currently in the midst of a 14-game losing streak. That could be extended to 15 games Friday night, as the Rockets will take on the 27-9 Utah Jazz.
