This little entrepreneur has become something of a superstar with his family-friendly YouTube channel, EvanTubeHD gaining over 744 million views since it was established in Setember 2011.

Through his videos, which feature reviews of toys and video games, Evan has raked in a staggering $US1.3 million a year.

To gain some perspective on Evan’s level of fame, Katy Perry’s YouTube channel has received 287 millions views and Taylor Swift’s a mere 72 million.

So how exactly did the pint-sized genius gain a level of fame and wealth that most people can only dream of?

Evan and his dad Jared told Newsweek it initially it began as a father and son project where the two would make Angry Birds stop-motion clay model videos to share with his friends.

More and more people began to tune in to their monthly videos and soon they were receiving over a million views.

Then came the request to talk about toys, and as Jared says: “The rest is YouTube history.”

Jared says they have a sales team that sells ads and negotiates deals with brands and businesses.

Eager not to let the celebrity status go to his head though, Evan’s parents ensure he lives the life of any normal kid, going to school and hanging out with friends. They also keep any identifying information out of the public eye.

All the proceeds are going into savings and investment accounts for the Evan and his sister's futures.
