DuPont Earnings Beat, Revenue Misses In Q3

Investing.com - DuPont reported third quarter earnings that beat analysts' expectations on Thursday and revenue that fell short of forecasts.

The firm reported earnings per share of $0.96 on revenue of $5.43B. Analysts polled by Investing.com expected EPS of $0.95 on revenue of $5.44B. That compared to EPS of $0.74 on revenue of $20.12B in the same period a year earlier. The company had reported EPS of $0.97 on revenue of $5.47B in the previous quarter.

DuPont follows other major Basic Materials sector earnings this month

On October 24, Vale ADR reported third quarter EPS of $0.32 on revenue of $10.22B, compared to forecasts of EPS of $0.51 on revenue of $10.49B.
