Six teens aged 12-18 have been hospitalised following an “out-of-control party” in Brisbane’s south.

Emergency services were called to the 17th birthday party at Sungold Rd in Chambers Flat just before 11pm on Friday.

Queensland Police reported up to 300 people attended, while Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) believed about 400 were present.

Six ambulance crews attended the wild party but were forced to wait for police assistance

Several young people who wished to remain anonymous told The Courier Mail that paramedics were pelted with rocks upon arrival.

Police officers arrived at the party just after midnight and found attendees “causing a disruption in the neighbourhood”.

Six people aged 12-18 were taken to Logan Hospital due to intoxication.

Officers moved on the party attendees and remained at the scene until they had safely left the area.

A 19-year-old Burpengary man was issued infringements in relation to trespassing and public nuisance.

One attendee, who wished to remain anonymous, told 9 News they fled the party when more people than expected turned up.

“It was meant to be a birthday party,” they said.

“It was only meant to be 90 people and then like 400 people came.”

Several young people who claimed they attended the party told The Courier Mail that “the kids were so drunk and half of us didn’t even know what was happening”.

“There were two guys … that were chasing after one guy … over a girl.”

The young people also claimed several female attendees were sexually assaulted inside and outside the house party.

A QAS spokesperson said there were no reports of any injuries sustained from physical assault.
