If the Aussie winter blues are getting to you and you think it’s time for a sea change, have I got news for you.

Five-star luxury resort, Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu, is literally the stuff of dreams.

And it wants to give you a dream escape valued at a whopping $9,100 - in exchange for helping their Marine Turtle Rescue Centre rescue sea turtles.

They’re after interns for a two-week unpaid stint, but will fly the lucky applicants to the Maldives for free, let them stay in their insane guest villa on the water, and eat all the hotel’s food for free.

What’s more, interns will get to jump on board a sunset cruise, go diving, dolphin-watching and take a guided snorkelling tour in the crystal-clear Baa Atoll waters.

Over to the actual work

The intern will help rescue and feed turtles at the resort’s Rescue Centre. They’ll also clean tanks, observe surgeries, post on social media, and watch rehabilitated sea turtles get released back into their natural habitat.

While the call out was initially posted to UK residents, “the incredible response from applicants all over the world” made the resort take offers worldwide, it said.

You must be over 18, submit a two to three minute video, and a 500-word cover letter explaining why you’re a good fit for the role.

And, while you don’t need any previous experience in the field, an interest in marine rescue would help.

Be quick - entries shut July 1.
