Deliveroo's $1 meal deals: How to get one

Millions of Australians across the nation’s capital cities will get a shot at scoring burgers, pastas, curries, ice creams and more for just a dollar.

Twenty six participating restaurants across Australia, including Gelato Messina, Royal Stacks and Tadka Hut, are offering 100 opportunities each to nab a $1 meal through the Deliveroo app.

Every day for the rest of this week, a different capital city will go ‘live’ with its $1 meal deals, which come with free delivery.

But there are limited windows of opportunity for each capital city, so it’ll be first in, best dressed. If you’re too late, you’ll miss out.

  • If you’re in Melbourne, the deals will be available between 12pm and 6pm.

  • Sydney-siders will be able to jump on the deals from 1pm to 4:30pm.

  • Brisbanites have just three hours to score the deals, from 2pm to 5pm.

Unfortunately, Adelaideans have missed out, with Tuesday 10 November being their day of opportunity.

When the deals are released, they’ll be tagged ‘$1 Deals’ on the Deliveroo app.

To help you keep track of when they’re available in your city, Deliveroo’s Instagram page is notifying followers one hour before the deals go live.

“Keep your eyes peeled on the Deliveroo Instagram as we’ve got some of your favourite dishes from top restaurants coming your way for just $1,” said Deliveroo Australia’s Joe Satari.

“You definitely don’t want to miss out on the cheapest (and best) meal you’ve ever bought this November - and its free delivery too!”

The $1 deals are part of Deliveroo’s fifth birthday in Australia.

Orders of more than $30 will get a code to ‘spin the wheel’ to win 1 of 100,000 gifts, which includes Deliveroo credit, free burgers, and a new MINI Electric Hatch.
