• LATAM Airlines Group S.A. LTM shares jumped 31.1% after Delta Air Lines Inc. DAL agreed to acquire 20% stake of the company for $1.9 billion.

• Shares of Las Vegas Sands Corp. LVS climbed 2.2% following news that the company will enter the benchmark S&P 500 Index on Oct 3 replacing Nektar Therapeutics NKTR.
