Coles permanently slashes prices on hundreds of products
Coles will cut the price of more than 200 products in a move it says will help lower the cost of living.
The supermarket giant announced the decision on Tuesday, saying it will reduce prices over the next three months with ice creams, entertaining, convenience meals and cereals among the products to receive cheaper prices.

Coles head of pricing and value Tim Lane said the campaign will begin with 18 ice cream and convenience products including Haagen Dazs 475mL tubs, which will be reduced from $11.50 to $8 and Bulla Crunch ice cream bars from $7 to $4.50.
Coles’ Vegetable Lasagna and Meat Free Butter Chicken and Rice will also be $7 from $7.50.
And on Wednesday, another 17 products will be discounted across its deli, beverages and pet food ranges.
“We know that this has been a tough year and budgets continue to be stretched. With many Australians looking for ways to save money on regular purchases, we’ve lowered the cost of products across our ice cream and fresh convenience range,” Lane said.
“We’ll be adding further categories to the campaign throughout the summer period, to deliver even better value to customers every time they shop at Coles.”
