Coles serves up $22 lobsters ahead of Christmas celebrations
Aussies will be able to bring a little luxury to their Christmas spreads this year after Coles cut prices of crayfish and other seafood just in time for the holiday rush.
Popular WA cooked rock lobster will drop from $27 to $22 each from today, and will be available in 600 selected Coles stores nationwide. Those looking to satisfy their seafood cravings will also find another favourite, WA raw rock lobster tails, can also be snapped up for a low $21 each.

According to the supermarket chain, 40 per cent of Coles' annual lobster sales will be made in the days leading up to Christmas, and customers are expected to purchase around 720,000 kilograms of prawns these holidays.
"More than 70 per cent of our customers have told us price is the most important factor when shopping for Christmas products, so we've worked hard with our fantastic partners to provide the best quality, responsibly sourced seafood while keeping prices low as possible," Coles executive general manager for fresh food Andy Mossop said.
Coles will also be offering large Tasmanian southern rock lobsters, which are caught in cooler waters and are generally redder than WA rock lobsters, at its local Tassie stores at just $48 per lobster for the first time – a more affordable option compared to other markets.
Another popular item will be thawed, large cooked black tiger prawns at $29/kg, the price of which has been dropped and locked until the end of January.
Buying limit
In order to make sure all Coles customers get access to the Christmas offering, the supermarket has introduced a temporary purchase limit on WA cooked rock lobsters of four per person.
