Yahoo Finance Claire’s employee has no idea she was fired, shows up to work anyway
A woman claims she was terminated from the accessories store Claire’s without anyone telling her.
TikToker @a..l…e…x..a shared that when she showed up to work one day, she discovered that Workday software had already terminated her. Workday creates management systems for businesses and universities.
“Apparently I was fired and no one told me?” she wrote in the video text.
She showed a screenshot from Workday, “Terminate: Alexa M Gregor (Terminated) 1 hour(s) ago – Due 10/02/2022; Effective 09/11/…”
“The fact that I’m still working rn,” she wrote in the caption.
She later elaborated in the comments that it was just a misunderstanding and “they terminated the wrong Lexi.”
Nevertheless, people on TikTok shared similar termination horror stories.

“Dude same happened to me. It was unexpected. They didnt even talk to me,” another said.
“Gave my 2 weeks notice at Chase Bank and then happened to see a revised schedule printing without me on it. Couldn’t let me work my 2 weeks,” a TikTok replied.
“Claire’s accidentally terminated me from the system when I was on covid leave lmfao,” someone added.
“But the way Cornell did this exact thing to me. Got an email through Workday and just packed my desk and left,” a person responded.
