50,000 Aussies to score $1k COVID-19 vaccine prizes
Melburnian “vaccine heroes” are eligible for prizes of $1,000 under a city plan to drive up COVID-19 vaccination rates in the Victorian capital.
Under the City of Melbourne campaign, people who share their vaccine stories on Instagram can win $1,000 shopping vouchers for Queen Victoria Market, Emporium or Melbourne Central.

One winner will be crowned every day for six weeks from Monday 30 August, with eight bonus $1,000 vouchers taking the total prize pool to $50,000.
"Every single one of us has a role to play to slow the spread, reduce the harm and enable our city to reopen, so we're doing everything we can to encourage Victorians to get the jab if they're eligible," Lord Mayor Sally Capp said.
"With more people eligible than ever before, now is the time for us to race to the finish line which will see us protect the most vulnerable, allow our businesses to confidently reopen, and see the people we love.
"This is also a chance to support traders by encouraging people to shop local, and to return to the city when it's safe to do so."
