Christian McCaffrey, first pick in most fantasy leagues, returns from injury and scores a TD right away

If you had the first pick in your fantasy draft, there’s a good chance you took Christian McCaffrey. And if you’re not out of the playoff race yet, McCaffrey might still carry you a long way.

McCaffrey had been out since Week 2 with an ankle injury, but practiced this past week and returned for the Carolina Panthers. He was right back to his normal self on the first drive, with four carries for 18 yards and two catches for 16 yards.

Somehow the Kansas City Chiefs lost him at the end of that first drive and McCaffrey had an easy touchdown. He slid through the line, the middle linebacker didn’t pick him up and Teddy Bridgewater found McCaffrey for the 9-yard score and a 7-0 Panthers lead.

McCaffrey is undeniably one of the best players in football, and you don’t have to be a Panthers fan to appreciate his electric highlights. Everyone should be happy McCaffrey is back, except maybe the defenders and defensive coordinators who have to slow him down.
