Chelsea FC vs Leicester City predictions: Where the FA Cup Final will be won and lost

Chelsea and Leicester City go head to head at Wembley on Saturday in the FA Cup Final.

With Thomas Tuchel and Brendan Rodgers both one game away from lifting the most famous cup in club football, here are the key talking points ahead of the showpiece event.

Bouncing back

Chelsea have to put Wednesday’s shock defeat by Arsenal behind them.

Tomorrow is the first of four ‘finals’ for Tuchel’s men as they aim to finish the season by winning two trophies and secure a top-four place.

They have no time to feel sorry for themselves against a buoyant Leicester, who go into the game on the back of a crucial win against Manchester United.

Kai Havertz will be lucky to keep his place in tomorrow’s starting XI after a blunt performance against Arsenal — and Christian Pulisic could be another to pay the price for his part in that defeat.

Chelsea’s wastefulness in front of goal continues to be a concern, but Tuchel just cannot seem to find consistency up front.

Timo Werner should come back in, while Hakim Ziyech may get the chance to repeat his semi-final heroics, when he scored the winner against Manchester City.

It is no longer just Jamie Vardy that defences have to worry about when facing Leicester.

Kelechi Iheanacho has been one of the stories of the season as the striker finally began to fulfil the potential he showed as a raw talent coming through at City.

A record of 15 goals in his last 17 games underlines his threat. And if he does not get you, Vardy almost certainly will.
