Cheapest Aussie supermarket for Christmas groceries, revealed

With Australians set to spend more than $51 billion this Christmas, most households will be looking for ways to cut costs where they can.

The annual Christmas supermarket shop can cost hundreds, but data from Choice reveal which Aussie supermarket is leading the pack in terms of value.

Shopper favourite, Aldi has the cheapest Christmas basket at $175.16, 15 per cent cheaper than its nearest competitor, Coles.

The same Christmas shop at Coles will set you back $205.24, followed by Woolworths at $207.30.
