Centrelink relief extended for these Aussies
Centrelink recipients who live in a flood-affected area have had their mutual obligation requirements paused - but it differs depending on where you live.
While requirements have been paused, Centrelink recipients must still report any income they or their partner get every two weeks - even if it’s $0 - to ensure they’re paid correctly.

New South Wales
Requirements have paused from October 14 until November 11, 2022 in Albury.
Requirements have paused from October 26 until November 23, 2022 in Moree Plains and Narrabri.
Requirements have paused from November 8 until December 6 2022 in Forbes, Gunnedah and Walgett.
Victoria
Requirements have paused from October 14 until November 11, 2022 in the following postcodes and LGAs:
