Centrelink warning: 3 days left to update details
Centrelink offices will be closed on Monday, April 25 so reporting dates and payment arrangements have been changed.
Services Australia said some may be paid early depending on the reporting period.
“We want to help you plan so you still get paid. You may need to report your income early so we can pay you. We may pay you early,” Services Australia said.

For those who report early during their assessment period, they’ll need to include what they expect to be paid for that full period.
“You must also do this for any other changes that may affect your payment,” Services Australia said.
“If you make a mistake, you can correct your report within 14 days, or when you next report.
“If you report after your assessment period, we’ll pay you after you report to us. You may want to do this so you can be sure of your employment income or changes to your circumstances.”
You can use your Centrelink online account through myGov to do any of the following:
Report your income
View your reporting dates for the next 12 weeks
Change some of your appointments
Apply for an advance payment
You can also use the Express Plus mobile app and phone self service.
“You can still report your income to us, even when we’re closed. However, if you do this on a public holiday we’ll pay you after the public holiday,” Services Australia said.
You can view your reporting dates 12 weeks in advance online. You can do this in your Centrelink online account through myGov or the Express Plus Centrelink mobile app.
If you don’t have one, you can create a myGov account.
Services Australia said you could still report your income to it, even when it was closed.
