1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington D.C. is one of the most famous addresses in the world: it’s the location of the White House and now US President Joe Biden’s new home.

However, the new American leader will also have access to another home - but its exact address is not known.

Camp David, in the Catoctin Mountains in Maryland, is the presidential country retreat and has played host to the country’s leaders and other foreign dignitaries since 1942 when President Franklin D. Roosevelt converted it from a federal agent base.

President Eisenhower named it Camp David after his grandson and father, who were both named David.

The residence is a 30-minute helicopter ride from the White House, and while the White House is open to the public, Camp David is closed to the public with high levels of security.

Okay, but what’s it like inside?

The residence features a golf course, hot tub and pool with the actual home called the Aspen Lodge. It features four bedrooms, sunroom, planting area and living room.

There are a dozen guest cabins including the Laurel Lodge, where meals are served and meetings are held. There’s also the Hickory Lodge which features a movie theatre, restaurant and bar, game room, library and bowling Alley.
