It’s called the ‘Bubble House’, and it’s the most-viewed house on Realestate.com this week - and rightly so.
The Bubble House at 79 Elanora Way, Karalee in Queensland is truly out of this world. With 11 domes and twenty rooms across 1,050-square metres of floor space, this house, or spaceship, is a “world first”.
The listing states the “inventor” behind the home is moving on, and wants a new buyer.
“What started as a thesis idea, 36 years ago, by Mr Birchall grew into the current family home,” the listing states.
The home comprises 11 intersecting circular domes which range from 4-metre to 8-metre in diameter, and the circular “iris” of the shutters are for privacy, according to the listing.
It’s situated on half a hectare, with multiple balconies and even a wine cellar.
“This home is an ode to strength, beauty and the simplicity of the humble circle,” it states.
The home is open for expressions of interest, with viewings by appointment only.
