'What on earth': Fighter confronts referee in 'awful' scenes
Fighter Jason Lee Bergman has sparked uproar in a 'bizarre' fight after he appeared to push the referee after a chaotic moment.
Bergman (27-20-2, 18KOs) was fighting Treyy Lipp Morrison (16-0) in the heavyweight division in Oklahoma, ahead of the bout between WBO light heavyweight title fight between Joe Smith Jr. (26-3, 21KOs) and Maxim Vlasov (45-3, 26KOs).

The two heavyweights were slugging it out when the journeyman, Bergman, was against the ropes and landed a solid left to Morrison.
Morrison hit the deck, but the referee waved the knockdown off, apparently because it appeared to be a head clash.
Replays showed it was a clean left from Bergman.
As the referee started the 10 count for Morrison, who immediately got to his feet, Bergman became enraged.

He confronted the referee and appeared to push him back as he protested the no knockdown call.
Many fans claimed Bergman should have been immediately disqulified for placing his hands on the referee.
While others couldn't believe the 'awful' decision from the referee that robbed Bergman of a knockdown.
What on earth? Jason Bergman acting like he is going to strike the referee!

Heavyweight Trey Lippe Morrison wins by 3rd-rd TKO when Jason Bergman rolls his right ankle and can’t continue. He gave Morrison problems and was robbed of a knockdown. #boxing

I understand his frustration, but there’s no way he can get away pushing the referee. Some type of fine needs to be imposed. #Boxing

He should have been DQed out the moment he put his hands on the ref. I don't care how angry he was (and he had every right to be - that was a knockdown) you can't put your hands on the ref in anger.

Ref Gary Ritter just missed a very very obvious knockdown of Trey Lippe Morrison by Jason Bergman. Awful. Left ha d clean and ref totally botched it on #SmithVlasov card. #boxing

WHOA!! Trey Lippe Morrison hits the deck. Local ref Gary Ritter insists it wasn't a knockdown. Jason Bergman disagrees, gets in ref's face and openly asks "What the f*** do you mean that wasn't a knockdown?!" I do not disagree with Mr. Bergman #SmithVlasov

Bergman loses after leg injury
But the fight ended in even more bizarre scenes.
Bergman was finding it tough in Round 2 and 3 and was trading punches with the more dynamic Lippe.
But, Bergman moved forward and missed with a wild punch and went down with a leg injury.
Clearly in pain, Bergman was not able to get up and the fight was awarded to Lippe.
Bizarre fight between Jason Bergman and Trey Lippe. Morrison got the W, but I’m hoping he calls it a day with this boxing pursuit. Put him in with a skilled puncher and he’ll get seriously hurt
