Beverly Hills Cop 4 – officially titled as Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F – is finally being released next year and we now have the first trailer to enjoy, which you can watch above.
The long-awaited fourth movie in the series sees Eddie Murphy reprise his role as the iconic quick-witted policeman, marking 40 years since he made his debut as the character.
Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F will be released on Netflix in summer 2024, although we're still waiting for an official release date. We do now have the trailer and the first poster to enjoy while we wait though.

The movie sees detective Axel Foley back on the beat in Beverly Hills when his latest case turns personal.
When his daughter Jane's (Taylour Paige) life is threatened, Axel teams up with her and new partner Detective Abbott (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), as well as old friends Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and John Taggart (John Ashton) to uncover a conspiracy.
The film is once again produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, while Mark Molloy is directing. Bruckheimer told TUDUM that the movie sees Murphy as the "same Axel Foley" we all fell in love with.
"He's still on the streets. He's still doing what he does. Obviously with age you get wiser. But he still has the twinkle in his eye," he explained.

"Some of the funniest moments in Axel F are when Eddie's doing improvising," added Molloy, who is making his directorial debut.
"For me, a big part of my job was to create the right environment [and] cast the right people around Eddie to allow him to do what he does best."
Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F will be released on Netflix in summer 2024.
