Investing.com - Baidu reported third quarter earnings that beat analysts' expectations on Thursday and revenue that topped forecasts.

The firm reported earnings per share of ¥ 12.61 on revenue of ¥ 28.08B. Analysts polled by Investing.com anticipated EPS of ¥ 8.21 on revenue of ¥ 27.61B. That compared to EPS of ¥ 19.01 on revenue of ¥ 28.20B in the same period a year earlier. The company had reported EPS of ¥ 10.11 on revenue of ¥ 26.33B in the previous quarter.

Baidu follows other major Technology sector earnings this month

On October 30, Apple reported fourth quarter EPS of $3.03 on revenue of $64.04B, compared to forecasts of EPS of $2.83 on revenue of $63.01B.
