Argentina to negotiate with holdout creditors in January: mediator
Argentina will begin negotiations with holdout creditors it has branded "vultures" in the second week of January, the New York arbitrator in the long-stalled negotiations said Monday.
Daniel Pollack, the "special master" appointed by a US court to seek a compromise between Buenos Aires and the creditors, announced the talks following a "constructive" meeting Monday in New York with senior officials from newly elected Argentine President Mauricio Macri's administration.
