If you’ve tried TikTok-viral cleansing methods, nose strips and exfoliating acids to get rid of your blackheads, but nothing seems to work, you may want to look into pore vacuums (aka blackhead vacuums). This serious skin care tool means business, and right now, you can get this Amazon best-selling one for 50% off.

Pore vacuums remove the excess oil and build-up that clog pores, as well as blackheads. If you feel that your blackheads are extreme, you should go see your dermatologist. However, using a pore vacuum on your own at home is relatively safe, as long as you use the correct setting for your skin type and don’t linger over one area for too long (more on that in a bit).

The Musement Blackhead Vacuum on Amazon has three suction levels: Level one for sensitive and dry skin, level two for combination skin and level three for oily skin. According to the product description, it also comes with six different suction heads for treating different areas of the face.

Luckily, it’s pretty easy to use as well. Before every use, you should disinfect the suction tip and wash your face with a gentle cleanser. Next, either use a face steamer or drape a hot towel over your face to open your pores. (You can also use the device right after a hot shower and skip the first two steps.) Then, you’ll want to gently glide the device over your face in short circular motions. However, don’t hold the device over one area for more than three seconds, or you may risk the powerful suction bruising your skin.

One thing to note: The Musement Blackhead Vacuum’s images on Amazon are somewhat comical and even cartoonish. However, it’s a best-seller for a reason. More than 1,500 Amazon reviewers give it a five-star rating and call it a “great product.

This product was amazing!” wrote one reviewer. “I was worried it wouldn’t have very good suction, but it’s much more powerful than I was expecting! The little heads can be difficult to clean out by just using water, but I’ve found using a Q-tip to clean out the end works perfectly. I would definitely recommend this blackhead vacuum to anyone, especially for the price!”

The Musement Blackhead Vacuum regularly retails for $39.99, but for a limited time, you can snag it for $19.99. That’s a great deal, especially considering all the money it could save you on expensive beauty products. If you want to keep your skin care routine relatively simple, give this tool a shot.
