Amazon Aus is now selling houses: And you can win one
Amazon Australia has just started selling tiny houses and is giving one away stuffed full of goodies as a promotion.
Tiny houses are very small buildings that contain compact self-contained facilities, similar to a caravan. They are on the rise as a popular way for environmentally conscious Australians to stay in a holiday home or even build a primary residence.
Brisbane manufacturer Aussie Tiny Houses, from Wednesday December 4, has its catalogue on sale on Amazon.com.au.
"Aussies are looking for a more affordable and sustainable ways to get on the property ladder and since setting up our business over 3 years ago, sales have doubled every year and the interest in tiny houses and alternative living has been growing exponentially," said Aussie Tiny Houses managing director Fabio Paulucci.
To mark the occasion, Amazon is giving away one entire house from Aussie Tiny Houses. The dwelling, which has been professionally decorated by interior design blogger Jen Bishop, has been decked out with other items sold on Amazon Australia.
"I've styled the house with a summer chic entertainment theme, with festive touches, picking fresh colours and elements of gold," said Bishop.
The items in the Amazon Prime Tiny Holiday House include a dining table, kitchen crockery, bathroom accessories, Amazon Echo smart speakers, outdoor games, a Christmas tree and presents.
The winner will also receive one year's free membership to Amazon Prime.
The house will be on public display at Martin Place in downtown Sydney from 6am to 7pm on Wednesday December 4. Amazon Australia will also give away prizes at the showing.
