Activision Blizzard Earnings beat, Revenue Inline In Q3

Investing.com - Activision Blizzard (NASDAQ:ATVI) reported third quarter earnings that beat analyst's expectations on Thursday and revenue that was inline with forecasts.

The firm reported earnings per share of $0.53 on revenue of $1.66B. Analysts polled by Investing.com anticipated EPS of $0.5 on revenue of $1.66B. That compared to EPS of $0.6 on revenue of $1.9B in the same period a year earlier. The company had reported EPS of $0.4 on revenue of $1.39B in the previous quarter.

For the year, Activision Blizzard shares are down 0.84%, under-performing the Nasdaq 100 which is up 11.3% year to date.

On November 1, Apple reported fourth quarter EPS of $2.91 on revenue of $62.9B, compared to forecasts of EPS of $2.78 on revenue of $61.46B.
