Aaron Carter returns to rehab
After he vowed to get his life back on track, Aaron Carter has returned to rehab after the trouble singer "took a week off".
The 29-year-old checked himself out a rehab centre earlier this month after spending only two weeks in there to deal with a number of addiction issues, however Aaron released a statement over the weekend via his spokesperson, saying he's checked back in.
"Aaron has taken care of the legal and financial matters that required his attention and returned to the wellness facility to complete his program," Aaron's rep said, according to RadarOnline.
The I Want Candy singer has recently been open with his struggles, tweeting on September 23, "Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me" before checking into a facility.
It's been a rocky year for Aaron, after he was arrested for DUI in July. Shortly afterwards the singer came out as bisexual in an emotional letter to fans, before ending his relationship with girlfriend Madison Parker. However in September he tweeted about his involved in a serious car accident before a police were called to his home numerous times for "welfare checks".
Shortly before entering rehab, the brother of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter appeared on US medical show The Doctors, where he told the host he feared he had contracted HIV.
"That was the scariest thing I have ever done in my life. After not getting annual checkups and testing and being safe, actually, being safe so I could be safe for others, more importantly," he said on the program after being told he had tested negative to the disease.
"That's what scared me. I felt like I was putting people at risk with my body... I didn't have the courage to go face the music."
Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me.

Aaron's family expressed concerns for him, with TMZ reporting last month they feared he would "relapse" and were "desperate to get him help".
The outlet added with the former child star sharing thoughts such as "I can't take it anymore" and "I'm losing it" on social media, his family were worried he's suffering a "mental breakdown".
A source close to the Carter family told the online publication at the time that they're "worried he's relapsing by inhaling the aerosol spray used to clean keyboards", adding that was the reason behind his 2011 rehab stint.
