Hydrating is an important part of self-care. Drinking water can benefit your digestion, joints, skin, hair — everything. But, with all the tasty yet sugary-filled sodas, juices and other beverages available, drinking water may fall low on your list.

If you need a little motivation to drink more water, you can infuse it with fresh fruits and herbs to give it a boost of flavor — and this $13 water bottle on Amazon makes it easy.

The Zulay Fruit Infuser Water Bottle holds 34 ounces of water, and it has a removable infuser inside for holding your fruit and whatever else you want to add to your water. Its shatter-resistant and leak-proof design has a flip-top lid that creates an airtight seal around the top. As a bonus, it also comes with water intake time markers on the side to keep you motivated, an anti-slip insulation sleeve, a cleaning brush and a recipe e-book.

More than 1,500 Amazon shoppers give the water bottle a 5 out of 5-star rating.

“I am already drinking more water because this bottle makes it easy and tasty,” wrote one reviewer. “This is the only one I’ve seen with time-markings down the side; a few quick swigs each hour, refill it twice during the day, and you have consumed a full two liters. Fill it when you set your coffee pot for the morning and wake up to coffee and fruit-infused water!”

Of course, you may have seen a few different guidelines online for how much water you should be drinking per day. Some sources will say you should drink six to eight cups a day, while others will say you need to drink half your weight in ounces.

However, the amount of water you’re supposed to drink depends on your overall health, metabolism, size, activity level and more. So if you really want a more accurate hydration goal for yourself, you should talk to your doctor.

Otherwise, Harvard Medical School says that most healthy people need four to six cups of water per day, while The National Academies of Science, Engineering and Medicine recommends that men get about 3.7 liters (16.5 cups) a day and that women get 2.7 liters (about 11.5 cups). The latter includes water from the food you eat, hence the big difference.

If you think even four to six cups is a lot, you’re probably not drinking enough water. So, get yourself this Zulay Fruit Infuser Water Bottle.
