$10 Mother's Day flowers: Here's where to buy them
Australia celebrates Mothers' Day this Sunday and there will be more than a few people looking for flowers for their loved ones.
The industry does a booming trade for the occasion, and arrangements at specialist flower stores can cost up to $200 or even more.
But there are a few retailers that are targeting children of mothers who have raised them to be responsible with their finances.
The best deal Yahoo Finance has seen is a $10 potted chrysanthemum gift, to be sold at selected Coles supermarkets from Thursday onwards.

Coles also has a range of other flowers aside from the cheap chrysanthemums: a "tulip surprise" arrangement for $20 each, a $25 "mother's day bouquet", a $30 "grateful bouquet" and a "mother's day extravagant bouquet" for $35.
All are substantially cheaper than mother's day flowers available at specialist stores.
Woolworths hasn't quite gone as low as $10, but does have a "roses forever bouquet" on sale this week for $15. That chain also has $25 and $35 bouquets available, similar to its rival.
Over at Aldi, the special buys catalogue for Saturday shows "Beautiful Blooms mother’s day tulip bunch" selling for $12.99 and a "Beautiful Blooms mother’s day premium arrangement" on sale for $19.99.
Of course, being fresh products, you never know which flowers will be available at the store that you visit and none of them can be purchased online.
But these flowery deals will save enough money for the budget-conscious gift-giver that it's worth the punt if you have the time to physically shop around.
