Lennar Stock Is Underperforming. A Director Scooped Up Shares.

Lennar stock has been underperforming the market, and one of the home builder’s directors just scooped up shares. Lennar is one of the three largest home builders in the U.S. Its shares have gained less than 2% so far this year, lagging behind the and shares of PulteGroup but outpacing those of D.R. Horton Lennar topped earnings estimates for the fiscal first quarter ended on Feb. 29, but weak guidance sent shares sliding. Lennar didn’t respond to a request to make Banse available for comment on the stock purchase.
