OMAHA, Nebraska (Reuters) -Warren Buffett took the stage at Berkshire Hathaway's annual meeting on Saturday, paying tribute to his longtime business partner Charlie Munger while outlining the expanded roles of the executives who are designated to eventually succeed him in leading the company. The meeting is the 60th for Buffett, 93, since he took over Berkshire in 1965. Buffett said he was comfortable letting chief executives of Berkshire's operating units deal directly with Vice Chairman Greg Abel and Vice Chairman Ajit Jain.

Commenting on the figures, Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek said April's month-on-month inflation, which was 3.18%, was in line with expectations. According to the Turkish Statistical Institute, the biggest annual consumer price rise was in education, for which prices rose 103.86%, followed by restaurants and hotels at 95.82%. The central bank has hiked rates by 3,650 basis points since June including a 500 basis-point rise in March due to deterioration in the inflation outlook.
