'WandaVision' dominates 2021 MTV Awards

The MTV TV and Film Awards returned after taking a break last year, and one show ruled the night.

"WandaVision!"

The Marvel spin-off 'WandaVision' from Disney Plus took home four awards, including Best Performance In A Show for lead actress Elizabeth Olsen.

"That's crazy, you guys! Crazy!"

Fellow Marvel star Scarlett Johannson was honoured with a Generation Award for her Hollywood Career.

Her husband, SNL's Colin Jost, had a surprise waiting.

"MTV, you got slimed!"

"That's Nickelodeon!"

Sacha Baron Cohen received the Comedic Genius Award, appearing as some of his alter egos.

(As himself) "I'm afraid you're going to have to leave."

(As Ali G) "Is it because I is black?"

(As himself) "You are not black."

(As Borat) "You are black? Not."

And the late Chadwick Boseman picked up another posthumous award, winning Best Performance In A Movie for Ma Rainey's Black Bottoms.

Actress Yara Shahidi accepted it on his behalf.

"We are eternally grateful for the ways his presence and his art has changed the world."

The show was attended by a small, mostly unmasked but tested live audience.
