Vatican revamps ‘Click to Pray’ app

The Vatican has launched a new 'Click to Pray' app

to provide an improved digital praying experience in a fast-paced world

(SOUNDBITE) (English) NORWEGIAN TOURIST, SILJE (DID NOT GIVE SURNAME), SAYING: "I think the app is a good idea for the younger generation to reach them and yeah, it's a good idea."

'Click to Pray 2.0' is the first major update

since the app was launched in 2016

New features include a 'personal prayer planner'

and offers support for those with difficulty getting started

(SOUNDBITE) (Italian) FATHER COSIMO SCHENA SAYING: "I think it is an extraordinary thing because it allows you to reach people that you don't physically meet, it becomes a bridge to reach those hearts that sometimes have strayed from God and don't have enough courage to physically act."
