TEREZ PAYLOR: Any quick thoughts on Dak Prescott situation and him returning and what that's going to look like for the Cowboys in 2021?

TROY AIKMAN: Yeah, I-- you know what? I was surprised. I really thought that they would have gotten a deal done a year ago. And I-- I bet that the Joneses wish they had of, too, because the price is up from where it was last year.

TEREZ PAYLOR: [LAUGHING]

TROY AIKMAN: And I think that they'll get a deal done this year. I can't imagine that Dak's playing under the franchise tag again this year. If he is, then I have a hard time believing that he's going to finish his career with the Cowboys. And I'm a huge fan of Dak's.

I'm on-- you know, I've said it a lot. He's a wonderful guy. He's a great leader. He's a great teammate in an era where a lot of guys say, hey, they're all about winning. And there's very few that are. And-- but he's one of them. So I'm hopeful that he gets a deal done and that he's wearing the star for the next 10, 15 years.

TEREZ PAYLOR: All right, Troy, tell us a little bit about your partnership with Frito-Lay and what you guys have coming.

TROY AIKMAN: Yeah. We partnered with Frito-Lay-- me and several of the former players-- and have a really fun commercial that came out. It's a lot like the one earlier in the season to kick off the season, "'Twas the Night Before Kickoff" and this one with Frito-Lay, "'Twas the Night before the Super Bowl."

And you know, I'm in a spot-- my segment with Jerry Rice and Joe Montana, it was awesome. It was a lot of fun to shoot it. Those guys have been friends for a long time. I have a real history with them. And the others that I saw with the Mannings and, of course, Deion and the others was all really well done, too.

So I think the people at home that see it, I think they'll enjoy it. I know I sure enjoyed being a part of it.

TEREZ PAYLOR: All right, Troy. This was great. We appreciate it, man. And hopefully, we can do this again sometime. Thank you.
