Streets covered in ash from Mount Etna eruption

Ash and rock fragments have covered roads and buildings in the nearby towns of Fornazzo, Santa Venerina, and Giarre where residents used brooms to sweep volcanic ash on streets.

The south-eastern crater is at the epicenter of the activity that started on Feb. 16 and has lit up the volcano seven times in the past days.
