[APPLAUSE & CHEERS]

BRAD SMITH: All right, bing bong. That's the opening bell on Wall Street, spoken by yours truly. Skye, or "Ski-ye," however you're pronouncing it at home, Skye therapeutics.

SEANA SMITH: "Ski-ye".

BRAD SMITH: Yeah, I know. Biosciences company out there. They're ringing the opening bell at the NASDAQ. And Ibotta, ticker symbol IBTA, ringing the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. Just take a look at how the markets are moving to begin today's activity. Looks like we have some green across the board for the major averages to start off today's trading session.

SEANA SMITH: We do. We're holding onto gains here, Brad. At the open, you've got the Dow up just around 130. You've got the S&P also pushing to the upside, up just about 2/10 of a percent there, so still above that 5,000 mark. And then when you take a look at the NASDAQ, we're seeing a bit of a move to the upside here, up just about a tenth of a percent.

I also want to point out some of the action that we're seeing in the bond market, specifically the 10-year yield, pushing to the upside, up just about 2 basis points to 461. This was on the heels of the Philly Fed data that we got out earlier this morning. So we're seeing a bit of a move higher in the 10-year. Not as much of a reaction when you take a look at the reaction of the 2-year.

And then real quick, before we throw it over, we also want to take a look at the sector action as well. Because when you pull that up as we get to there, we are certainly seeing a lot of green on the screen. Materials, once again, the outperformer in early trading action.

BRAD SMITH: Yeah, technology pulling up the caboose, though, here on the day, down by about 2/10 of a percent right now.
