Oreo cookies, Ritz crackers team up for limited-time snack

Yahoo Finance's Allie Canal joins the Live show to taste test the latest product mashup from Mondelez between Oreo cookies and Ritz crackers.

DAVE BRIGGS: Speaking of food, we love our food crossovers, hybrids. And Ritz and Oreo, salty and sweet seems like a match made in heaven.

ALEXANDRA CANAL: Yeah, so this is a new announcement from Mondelez. We have Ritz-Oreo collab.

SEANA SMITH: Yum.

ALEXANDRA CANAL: Here it is in all the glory. We see a little bit of breakage right there. But here we go. Part Ritz, part Oreo cookie. If you want to get this, Thursday, you go on the website, Oreo.com/ritz. You can get a package for free, but you have to pay a shipping fee of $3.95, so not totally free.

SEANA SMITH: You're essentially paying for it.

ALEXANDRA CANAL: But very limited quantity here. I'm going to pass this around.

DAVE BRIGGS: It's about $1 per cracker.

ALEXANDRA CANAL: Exactly, exactly.

DAVE BRIGGS: And what's the filling here? Is it standard Oreo filling?

ALEXANDRA CANAL: We have the standard Oreo filling, and then we have the standard Ritz filling. So that is the hope that this is a salty-sweet collaboration.

SEANA SMITH: This is tough to eat on air.

ALEXANDRA CANAL: Is it tough to eat on air? Maybe I'll break this.

SEANA SMITH: It's really good.

ALEXANDRA CANAL: Is it good?

RACHELLE AKUFFO: So just so I know then, because you mentioned the two different kinds of fillings. Are both the Oreo filling and the cheese filling in the same cookie or cracker, or are they alternating it?

ALEXANDRA CANAL: It's in the same cracker. I really like it.

SEANA SMITH: Yeah, no, it's very, very good.

ALEXANDRA CANAL: Wow, I'm surprised.

DAVE BRIGGS: It's a peanut butter filling.

ALEXANDRA CANAL: It's a peanut butter filling. And I am a Oreo purist, I would say, so I'm surprised I like this. But I do think the combination of salty and sweet is pretty good.

SEANA SMITH: It's very, very good.

ALEXANDRA CANAL: Yeah.

SEANA SMITH: We could eat this whole thing. I'm surprised that there's only six per package.

ALEXANDRA CANAL: Very, very limited amount. So if you're a fan of this, if you want to find this, you better be there, 12:00 PM Eastern, on the dot, on that website, ready to order these, because judging from this, I don't think they have a lot.

DAVE BRIGGS: Not coming to stores, though, right?

SEANA SMITH: Really?

DAVE BRIGGS: I'm not overwhelmed.

ALEXANDRA CANAL: Wow.

ALEXANDRA CANAL: I think it's good.

ALEXANDRA CANAL: I agree. I agree with Seana.
