Nvidia earnings, July PCE, Fed's Bostic: What to Watch

Big Tech earnings are coming out next week in full force, with Nvidia (NVDA) to release its second quarter results after the market close on Wednesday, August 28. Other notable tech names coming out with quarterly earnings include CrowdStrike (CRWD), Salesforce (CRM), and HP Inc. (HPQ).

Lululemon (LULU), Gap (GAP), and Nordstrom (JWN) are among the retail chains also reporting earnings next week.

July's Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) index — the Federal Reserve's preferred inflation gauge — will be released next Friday, August 30.

Time now for what to watch next week, a bunch of tech earnings coming out next week including sales force and crowd strike.

But of course, all eyes will be fixed on in video that tech giant reporting second quarter results after the close on Wednesday and a lot is riding on that print in video has been one of the biggest drivers of returns among magnificent seven investors will listen for any more insight into the delay of Invidia Black Well trip which the company has not firm but analysts are expecting demand for its top for chip to remain strong and for it to beat and raise guidance.

We also see some more retail earnings from foot locker lemon and gap among others and taking a look at the economy monthly PC data for July that personal consumption expenditures that's coming out on Friday.

It's a measure of inflation and it's the one preferred by the Federal Reserve economist forecast.

It will remain relatively steady at 0.2%.

That would be a slight tick up for total PC.

And finally, we will get some more Federal Reserve commentary next week from Atlanta fed President Rafael Bostic coming after Boston just told Yahoo Finance is Jennifer Shaber or in Jackson Hole a 25 basis point cut in September is still, still quote, not a done deal.

He also said that quote, a recession is not in my outlook.
