Yahoo Finance's Seana Smith joined Yahoo Finance Live to break down the last headlines in todays News on the Move.

Video transcript

SEANA SMITH: It's time for your News on the Move. A 20-year-old Black man died after police shot him during a traffic stop in the suburbs of Minneapolis yesterday, sparking clashes with police and hundreds of protesters. And the Minnesota National Guard was deployed Sunday night. And just a short time ago, the mayor of Minneapolis declared a state of emergency, setting a citywide curfew that will begin at 7:00 PM local time tonight and lasts until 6:00 AM tomorrow morning.

Hideki Matsuyama making history with his win at the Masters yesterday becoming the first Japanese player to ever win a Major. Now he won by just one stroke, finishing at 10 under. The three-time Masters champion Nick Faldo is making some speculation. He's saying that Matsuyama should be chosen to light the Olympic torch at the opening ceremonies in Tokyo. We haven't heard an update from that, but certainly, a story that we will be following.

And the world's most expensive painting, the Salvatore Mundi, which was bought for $450 million by the Saudi royal family in 2017, may be the work of Leonardo da Vinci after all. I don't know if you've heard about this back and forth yet, but a documentary titled "The Savior for Sale" that's set to run on French TV this week, claims that the Saudis withheld the painting from an exhibition at the Louve after its experts concluded that it was produced by da Vinci's workshop and that da Vinci only contributed to it.

Now, Adam, there has been lots of back and forth about what to believe and what not to believe. Media, though, is denying the documentary's version of events, saying that the painting is a work of Leonardo himself. I don't know where I stand on this. What do you think?

ADAM SHAPIRO: I love it. I remember when it first-- when it got purchased, I thought, wow. But the painting that I have always loved was, remember it was about 10 years ago, the woman who went into the church in Spain and wanted to update the 130-year-old painting of Christ. And she kind of paint by numbers messed it up. That image now is probably worth a lot. I love that.

SEANA SMITH: Oh, yeah, a lot, I know. $450 million is what this painting was last sold for back in 2017. So we will see how all this unfolds, but media denying the documentary's version of these events, saying that the painting is a work of Leonardo himself.
