- With energy prices going up from the 1st of July, here's some tips to save on energy. Make sure you insulate your heated rooms as best you can. When your heat is on, keep all doors and windows closed to trap in the warm air. Consider having your air conditioner or heating unit checked. Older models are less efficient and more costly to run than newer ones. Switch off all your devices at the wall.

So make sure you switch off devices like air conditioners, game consoles, and printers off the wall, instead of leaving them on in the background. And opt for energy efficiency where possible. Using energy efficient appliances in the kitchen and laundry room can also help keep your overall energy costs down.
