Bitcoin breaks $25,000 level for the first time since June

Yahoo Finance's Brian Cheung discusses bitcoin's price action.

Video transcript

[MUSIC PLAYING]

BRIAN CHEUNG: Go over to crypto on this Monday morning and see if there's any interesting price action. You could see Bitcoin down about 1.6%, but actually watch what happened overnight.

We actually saw Bitcoin break the 25,000 level for the first time since mid-June, which shows that there has actually been a pretty nice bounceback in Bitcoin commensurate with what we've seen in the stock market, although, of course, on a year-to-date basis, still very, very far from that above 45,000 level we had earlier in the spring. If we take a look at some other cryptocurrencies as well on the move, Ethereum down 4% to 1,900, and also watching Doge, why not, down 4.2% to about $0.07, Akiko.
