- I want to get to some breaking news about one of the labor leaders in this country, who's been on the show before. Richard Trumka, President of the AFL-CIO, the largest labor organization, has died unexpectedly, according to multiple reports.

Of course, Trumka had backed President Biden earlier on with an endorsement in his race. He's been pushing key-- a key advocate here when we talk about workers in the pandemic. Richard Trumka leading those efforts through the AFL-CIO. And reports out of Politico, sources there citing what they believe to be a heart attack, sources connected to Richard Trumka there.

But again, according to multiple reports, the head of the AFL-CIO, Richard Trumka, dead at the age of 72.
