Xenetic Biosciences, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company, focuses on advancing immune-oncology technologies for hard to treat cancers. Its product pipeline includes XBIO-015 for treating pancreatic carcinoma and solid tumors; and XBIO-020 for treating solid tumors. The company also has partnered with biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies to develop its proprietary drug delivery platform, PolyXen, which as an enabling platform technology for protein and peptide drug delivery. It has collaboration agreements with Belgian Volition SARL Limited to develop NETs-targeted adoptive cell therapies for the treatment of cancer, as well as PJSC Pharmsynthez and Serum Institute of India to develop and launch ErepoXen for the treatment of anemia in chronic kidney disease patients; sublicensing agreement with Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd; exclusive sublicense agreement with CLS Therapeutics Ltd to develop and commercialize pharmaceutical products and methods incorporating DNase enzyme for use in treatment of cancer; and exclusive license agreement with CLS Therapeutics Ltd to develop and commercialize pharmaceutical products and methods incorporating DNase in conjunction with CAR T therapies.
