The audio streaming company put up strong user growth in the fourth quarter and plans to finally start generating a profit.
Spotify has a podcast problem. Spotify bought Gimlet, the maker of podcasts like Reply All on internet culture, for $230mn and Anchor, a podcast-making app and platform. Paul Vogel, the company’s chief financial officer, put it plainly on a phone call this week.
