Beleaguered estate agent Purplebricks has received a rival takeover offer from one of its major shareholders, a week after agreeing to sell its business for just £1 in a cut-price rescue deal.
The entrepreneur who bought Purplebricks believes it can become the “Aldi or Ryanair” of property after saving the business from collapse in a £1 rescue deal.
Troubled online agents Purplebricks, which was worth £1.4bn at the height of its success, has been bought out by its rival for just £1.
