It's a good time to be a cryptocurrency investor, and by extension it's good to be an investor in cryptocurrency mining businesses. Coinbase (NASDAQ: COIN) and Marathon Digital (NASDAQ: MARA) represent two very different ways to invest in the Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) market. Coinbase is one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, and it facilitates trades of Bitcoin, Ether (CRYPTO: ETH), Tether (CRYPTO: USDT), and other crypto assets. Marathon is a Bitcoin miner that mines its own Bitcoin with a massive fleet of high-end application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) miners.
