Goldman Sachs Prepares to Release Earnings After Rival Banks Set Sullen Tone

Investment bank Goldman Sachs is scheduled to release its first-quarter earnings on Monday, following a string of lackluster results from U.S. banking competitors last week. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect Goldman to report earnings per share of $8.73 on revenue of $12.9 billion.
