Description

Forte Minerals Corp., a mining exploration company, engages in the acquisition, exploration, and development of gold and copper projects in Peru. The company explores for gold, copper, and molybdenum deposits. It holds 100% interests in the Pucarini project, which consists of 1,000 hectares located in Lampa Province, Department of Puno; and the Esperanza project that consists of 4,000 hectares situated in southern Peru. The company also has interests in the Alto Ruri high-sulfidation epithermal gold prospect and the Cerro Quillo porphyry gold-copper-molybdenum prospect covering an area of 4700 hectares located in central Peru, as well as holds an option to acquire a 60% interest in the Don Gregorio project covering an area of approximately 900 hectares located in northern Peru. The company was formerly known as Forte Copper Corp. and changed its name to Forte Minerals Corp. in April 2021. Forte Minerals Corp. was incorporated in 2011 and is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.
