Analysts expect D.R. Horton the nation’s largest home builder, will report solid quarterly results Thursday morning. The company’s shares have slumped in advance of its March quarter earnings report, falling about 11.4% in April as of Wednesday’s close. Analysts expect that D.R. Horton earned $3.07 a share on $8.15 billion in revenue in its fiscal second quarter, higher than the $2.73 a share on roughly $8 billion it earned in the same period last year.
