Shares of Dell Technologies (DELL) and Palantir Technologies (PLTR) are rallying as they prepare to join the S&P 500 (^GSPC) index. Alongside insurance provider Erie Indemnity (ERIE), the two tech firms will be added to the benchmark index before the market opens on Monday, September 23.
